VPS Operations Analyst
The VPS Operations Analyst works with a team of IT professionals
on virtualization products. He is responsible for supporting virtual
infrastructure operations by designing, configuring, implementing,
troubleshooting, and maintaining Virtual Servers through VMware Virtualization,
Storage, and other Cloud Computing Solutions. He is also responsible for
providing client support and technical issue resolution via e-mail, phone and
other electronic mediums. Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain VPS (VWware) systems
• Responsible for resolution and customer satisfaction, diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
• Work with the Configuration and Engineering teams to effectively communicate the status of outstanding issues and problems
• Help maintain the production and test environments, including application troubleshooting, configuration file maintenance, and server configuration and installation
• Perform other duties as requested and related to expertise
Requirements:
• Bachelors degree or higher in related field, or equivalent education and experience
• Excellent research, analysis, and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be detail-oriented, thorough, and vigilant
