Many MetaTrader 4 traders would like to see the FX Calendar while trading. The best solution is display the news in real time on your FX chart depending on which pair you are trading. We believe that all traders will appreciate the following product:

This little script will use a DLL to read the calendar news, will read the name of the chart you attach it to and will display the next news on this chart in GMT time. It will update the news hourly.

Installation

Please download the attached ZIP file and open it. You will see it contains 3 directories : libraries, include, experts. Please put these files in your Client terminal directory, the content of each directory in the zip file goes in the directory with same name in your Client terminal.
Please restart your client terminal
You should then see the Script called calendarEvents in your Scripts in your Client Terminal
Make sure that the options are configured as explained in our Free Tools page
Drag the Script and drop it on the chart of your choice. Or double click on the script. Then in the lower left corner of your chart you should read : Calendar Events : initialized. If there are news available on the internet (if you are not the weekend or late on a Friday) , the next 5 news Calendar will be displayed in different colors on your chart. Red will mean it is an important piece of news, yellow: less important. The largest line is the next piece of news scheduled.

Does it work in Vista?
- We have experienced some local with some traders in Vista. We are still working on making it bullet proof in Vista. Remember that this is free, we are doing what we can to solve all problems while we can't be spending too many resources on this product
Do I need Internet to use it?
- Of course. As you need internet to trade you also need internet so that this script can receive its information.
Do you offer support for this Script?
- If you find problems with it we are happy to fix them. Please do keep in mind that this is a free product and we can not spend too much time supporting it.
What if I find bugs?

Will you modify the scripts to fix my needs?
- We do not intend to modify our free products to customize them for each personal needs. However if you are motivated enough and are ready to spend a minimum of $500 to see the modification of this script to fit your needs please contact our sales department.
Why are you giving away this software for free when you could be charging for it?
- Because it only took a few days to make it and we are not trying to rip off every cent from every customer. We are making enough money on our other products, we think this will help people so we give it away for free.
